Fake, Flawed, or Fairly Accurate News: Home

This guide will help you evaluate news to determine if it is fake, flawed, or fairly accurate.

Fake, Flawed, or Fairly Accurate News

This guide provides you with tips to evaluate news to determine if what you're reading is fake, flawed, or fairly accurate. You will find information to help you evaluate the claims made in articles, the images and videos you come across online, and the bias you may encounter while interacting with information (both media bias and your own confirmation bias). There are also resources to find credible health information.

Look for workshops each semester to help you evaluate health news and put some of the information on this guide into practice.
