The Learning Commons participated in the Libraries Move PA Forward press conference in the Capitol on October 17, 2018. We presented a poster of our Star Library journey, and we were particularly proud to present as we are the second academic library in PA to earn a gold star. As a result of the press conference, the PA House and Senate introduced resolutions and Governor Wolf signed a proclamation to make October 17, 2018, Libraries Move PA Forward Day. We also advocated for state funding of libraries.
