APA help

Need help with APA formatting, references, and citations?  Check out the library's APA guide: http://pacollege.libguides.com/APA  You can also schedule an appointment with a librarian in Starfish.

Specific APA suggestions:

  1. Title page:  In box #4: Sample Paper, look at page one to see how a title page is formatted.
  2. Abstract:  In box #4: Sample Paper, look at page two to see how an abstract is formatted.
  3. Headings: In box #4: Sample Paper, look at page six to see examples of headings.
  4. Citations: In box #3: In-text Citations, there are examples of how to create in-text citations.  The first Purdue links gives general guidance on using in-text citations, while the second Purdue Owl link goes over what to do with different amounts of authors.
  5. Reference page: In box #2 References Page, there are several college websites that do a good job with giving examples of APA references for different kinds of sources.  Try to find one that matches what you have.  If you are not sure which one to use as a guide, ask.
